Money advice

Hi, we need some advice relating to short term easy access savings. We have sold our house and whist we will be purchasing another home at some point, we want to find the best place for our savings which will result in the best return. A mission in itself! We have £372k to spread around which needs to be protected under the £75k secure level. Do you have any suggestions?

NS&I is totally covered up to a million, and pays 1%.
You could spread some around the current accounts and regular savers but that's just a relatively small amount.
