Eating Out In Glasgow

I can highly recommend the horseshoe bar Drury lane for lunch or evening meal. You can choose from a four course menu for £4.95 and the food is delicious....It is cooked on the premises and as it's a popular place the food doesn't lie too long in the hot counter. The staff are really friendly and obliged when I had a nip of brandy added to my coffee at the end of my meal (only £1.95 extra) I don't know if kids are allowed , perhaps during the day. starters consist of garlic mushrooms, vegetable pakora, chicken pakora (50p supplement) soup. main courses consist of steak pie, farmhouse stew lasagne, chicken curry (chinese style) rost chicken, fish, sausages and various salads for the health conscious. sweets consist of strawberry cheesecake, black forest gateau, ice cream and fruit. Coffee or tea......all for £4.95. Drinks are cheap also . Enjoy a visit the next time you are in Glasgow city centre
