O2 have refused cashback
Very disappointed to receive news this morning that my cashback claim for an upgrade for O2 has been declined as "upgrades not eligible for cashback"
Now its thats long ago now that I signed up for it that I can't remember the wording of the cashback, but I always read through these things and am nearly positive it was one figure for a new contract and a lower figure for existing customers.
Added to the fact the advisor who I ended up speaking to blatantly lied to me about when the new S7 was coming out (she told me end of Summer - it came out about 2 weeks later at the same price as I am paying for the S6) and that the service in both my work and now my work has gone to almost nothing, i can't wait til this contract is over. In fact I might try and buy myself out of closer the end to get rid of O2 for good.
Very sad as I have been with them since my first phone over 20 years ago...but ah well, they have no reward for loyalty, then neither should I.

The deals now tend to be the same for new and old customers, if you wanted cashback all you have to do is cancel or pay up your current contract and start a new one
O2 refresh makes this easy to do0
