Christmas cards- when to sell them?

I have a massive job lot of 40 packets containing 20 Christmas cards each (so 800 in total). They are nice cards and come with envelopes but when is the best time to sell them? Will shop owners and traders be buying them soon or should I target private buyers closer to Christmas? Should I sell them in packets of 20 or in big job lots (postage would be difficult this way)? Tips much appreciated!

Have a look what others are selling and the lots they are in. Wholesale lots of Xmas cards sell all year! As they're packed in 20s they sound like they are retail packs, so not such a big lot for most retailers. We'd probably sell them in one lot but that' s what we do.

just an idea but it could be a selling point for you if they are a standard letter size eg cheaper to post.
surprised more dont use it as a selling point
