Pound Vs Dollar

I KNOW noone can predict exchange rates. But I am going across the atlantic at the end of Sept- the current exchange rates are terrible (THANKS BREXIT) and i was wondering with the presidential election looming there is there a slight chance that the dollar will drop?

There really is no way of knowing, many a fx trader has made and lost a fortune trying to work out what will happen to rates.

BTW, the exchange rate is pretty good IMO

Right now it's 1.325, GBP strengthened this morning.

Comparing last year's rates is pointless.

    For you? maybe

Depends which side you want to look at it from

I sell into the US market and it's almost boom time, so I think it's quite a good rate right now, long may it remain :)
