Can anyone answer this for me? I'm sure of you know about the Abbey debit cards and the c*oc up sending hem before the expiry date.
I just called Abbey's customer service as my om-line services stopped when the cancelled my card. Set up a new one and the lady said it would take 14 days to get here.
14 days a asked, when will you be sending it, next week? "No she said, it's being done as we speak" I said, "Do you have my registration number and pin codes on the screen" I asked her to give them to me, she said sh couldn't, against security.
First, it's against security, how come she has my pin numbers on er screen? And if it's the case that all the details are in front of her, why can she not give them to me as well? I mean, I could log on and change the pin numbers right away and could start managing my account today, not 2 weeks down the line?
I had to go through 5 security questions with her, so it's not like I'm not the account holder.
Just wondering why these have to make thing harder for us
