I'm new to eBay (& MSE).
I've got, 16 Feedback received in total (all positive), but only a 12 feedback score?
How do they work out the Score???
Thanks in Advance

If you buy multiple items from the same seller (or to the same buyer) within a space of 7 days ( i think its 7 days anyways) they only count the feedback for the set as 1 feedback and not the number of feedback from that seller ie. 5=======================

Out of the 16 there must be 4 from the same seller, ie. you only get 1 score for each unique seller. 12 is OK though! welcome to MSE!0

Feedback is only counted once even if you buying/selling multiples from/to the same person.
Your feedback suggests you have dealt with 12 individual ebayers.0 -
is it within the same week? i thought you could only ever get one point on your feedback from another buyer/seller regardless of how much they buy and of time scale?0

It is not within the same week, it is as you say regardless of timescale or amount of purchases.
Not sure what happens when you have left a positive previously and then in a seperate transaction leave a neg. Any ideas?0 -
It used to be when you got to powerseller level the feedback was slightly different, as it looked at the number of transactions, not the number of individual members. This was to reflect that powersellers would have more repeat customers.
