Hi, is this online opportunity authentic? They are called Data Online Typing. Someone replied to an email my Mother sent to them, and it seemed authentic, but I'm not sure.
They pay for you fill in forms. has anyone done any work for them?

If you have to ask, it's probably a scam.....0

The review is probably right but the website itself is a scam. It finishes by telling you "There's only ONE program I really recommend. It helped me turn my 'hobby' into a $6,000+ per month money making machine"... enough said.
You almost have to admire their chutzpah for listing as a "red flag" the fact that "home typing jobs" are employing the "good cop" strategy - “…99% of them are total scams! But this one isn’t. Really! We promise!" - even though this is exactly the strategy that "Steve" is using!0 -

Chances are it's not. Most are scams. Where did she find out about them?
If they offer a high payout, it's a scam. If their site is badly written, it's a scam. If there are no contact details or you look up the details and it doesn't exist/lists another company/shows a residential area, it's a scam. If they ask for a payment in order to pay you, it's a scam.
You can look up website details and see when the site was created, updated and is registered until. Most scam sites are newly registered and expire within a year. Plus you can usually see who set the website up.
The one thing you need to ask is why would they need someone to do that job.
If something is written, for example, as an image file you have to ask why - no professional would write a document as an image file, it'd be stupid. If it means keep paying someone just to rewrite text on an image file something is dodgy there because no legit business would do that.
As for filling out forms, what forms? Could be anything and no guarantee it'll be legal. You could unknowingly fill out something that makes you responsible and the outcome of that could be very bad.
There are legit ways of making money online and there are work from home jobs, but there are also many scams. If it seems too good to be true, if it says or in any way implies get rich quick, then it is a scam.
No site comes up with the address or company name " Data Online Typing", but there's certainly numerous scam/spam sites and posts that come up under that search.0 -
Its a scam site. Avoid.
There are a lot of home-based jobs if you want one, but they are usually low paid (sometimes below minimum wage because they are based abroad and don't care about legal implications) or expect you to work to very strict minimums that leave you working long hours, or without a day off.
Having said that, there are occasionally one or two jobs that are actually worth doing from home, but those types of jobs you will already know about as they are probably talked about a LOT on this forum and everyone wants to do it. lol
My advice is to avoid replying to anything like this without first posting on here to get an idea if its legit.0
