Getting the best rate
I noticed that I got a much better rate offered when I went for a 59 month term instead of 60 months. In fact the monthly repayments for the 59 month term were lower than for the 60 month term for the same loan size. This happens for all types of personal loans (cars, home improvements etc etc). Try it.

That's interesting, thanks for posting. I wouldn't have thought of trying that. What was the loan amount and what were the respective interest rates?
Given some very low headline rates I am surprised there is much left to cut.0 -
You can also get a better rate asking for £14,999 instead of £15,000.0
