Is it worth paying voluntary Class 2 NI while abroad

Hi everyone
I have been working abroad for a few years now on a local contract and have lost touch with the pensions and NI changes recently.
The main question I have is whether its worth paying voluntary class 2 NI. What is the value of the benefits compared to the cost?
Thoughts?

Most certainly, it's the bargain of the century.
The new changes mean you only need 30 years NICs to get the full basic state pension. How many have you got so far?Trying to keep it simple...0
