£10 off my monthly price plan with T-Mobile

My boyf got a free phone from work & no longer needed to keep his old T-Mobile contract. He rang them up to cancel (which just happened to be a month before the contract is due to end). They asked him why he wanted to end & he told them work was providing him with a Vodafone contract. They offered him to keep his current package with them (Freetime 750 - which costs £13.99) for only £3.99 a month. He declined their offer as work pays all his bills.
I rang T-mobile yesterday, which is a month before my contract ends, and gave them the same story. They offered me the same deal & I promptly accepted!! I was prepared to back track though if they hadn't offered it to me too! Neither of us has a big bill, & both make the most of our free minutes & free texts. They just really need to keep their customers. Worth trying. Just saved myself £120 a year!!!

I was one of those stupid people that worked for T-Mobile Customer Services.

So stupid that I have a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Southampton.

So stupid that I was paid to go to University by the Ministry of Defence.

So stupid that my IQ is sufficiently high to become a member of MENSA.

Being a brainy !!!! doesn't mean to say I am sensible - I really do lack common sense.

Joking apart, there may be an option in the menu when you call to speak to someone "if you're thinking of leaving". Or get someone to put you through. I used to find it difficult to get to speak to someone via that menu.

I just rang 150 off my mobile. Got put through to billing & told them I wanted to cancel & they then put me through to someone at the contracts dept & she made the offer to reduce my bill.
