Actually it would be pretty easy to spend 25k in a very short time . I would suggest you either lower the limit or get one with a reasonable limit to cover monthly spends
My husband can be a bit spendy , so hes not allowed access to cards to accounts that have direct debits as he has no interest in household accounts . He has is own account for spends ...........He doesnt really go mad , but he does still believe in the money fairy lol
Yep, my OH was like that too and I did the same as you. Closed down joint credit cards and said joint account is only for joint household expenses. If he is not interested in the nuts or bolts of managing finance - ie budgeting then I refused to get worked up about his spendthrift ways. I initially was annoyed though how suddenly he became very careful of his sole spending money whereas for years I had asked him to be more careful with our joint money. The only issue we have these days is what is personal and what is joint expenditure.
