Wednesday 25th May - What Small Debt Free Wannabe things will you do today?

Hi May Marvellous-oes,
No time to read or contribute much, sorry. This month I need to put the real world before the digital one.
Just some news: My manager casually mentioned today that when I'm back from my holiday I'll be stepping-up as a Agency Manager again. (You may recall I was in charge of a squad of 400 from October to January.) This time it's 'just' 200 or so people for a month. Take a deep breathe, Dowd. The money will be nice... :rotfl:

Evening all

Thanks for starting the thread Legomum - glad you are making progress after your accident
Didn't make it on yesterday, as I wasn't feeling great, then had GD for the afternoon to allow her mum to get a nap - little one is poorly and has not been sleeping and DD is shattered (she is a teacher CCL, so you will know what that means... she is fortunate though in that she only works 3 days per week). I went to bed and slept for 4 hours once she had gone home, and was then awake for most of the night
Still felt rough this morning, but had to get on with it as it was my usual grandma day - phew! Feel a lot better tonight though
So, all in all not much has got done!
Today's list:
Posted an ebay parcel and listed another item
Entertained a poorly (again) GD for free (why have I only just discovered the Peppa Pig web site?? :rotfl:)
HM meals from stores, despite being tempted by the idea of a takeaway tonight!
Not spent anything - GD asked for grapes, but I already had some of those
Watered the pots in the back garden. It is really cold here today but hasn't rained (and even if it does, you can't rely on the rain to properly 'water' containers in the same way as you can for plants in the open ground).
Found 1p when we walked the dog this afternoon
And a confession is in order - I turned the heating on
because of a poorly baby and poorly me
I will turn it off again in a minute though!
And that is about it  Must do better tomorrow, as we are going away for the weekend (camping like DNMS, so hope it warms up - I will be taking my hot water bottle!) and must get organised for that.0 -
Here and reading. I'll try and post properly tomorrow.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
