A message appeared "free up space, sync 73 photos". Seemed like a good idea, but now these photos have disappeared from my 'Gallery'.

Where have I sent them ? Can I get them back onto the Gallery ?
What is 'synching' ?

Open 'GOOGLE PHOTOS APP' they will be there

Download them again

not so sure if they go back into Gallery, but download a 'file manager app' to find them. Then find them and move to Gallery

Once downloaded, find in 'File app'
Select photo
Move to internal storage?

I dont have Gallery, just use google photos, doesnt use up internal storage space
