Living North
Entry Form - competition name: MANTRA THAI
Living North are delighted to offer a pair of tickets worth £130 to Mantra Thai Dining’s special Wine Maker’s Dinner on 18 May, where the winner will be able to enjoy a special food and wine experience. You’ll enjoy a five-course menu of authentic Thai dishes, with each course accompanied by a complementing wine. Each of the wines has been carefully chosen to bring out the flavours of Thai cuisine by Jonathan Grieve from Avondale Wine who will lead the evening, discussing each wine and the flavour combinations created between the two elements.
Diners will be served a starter selection including king prawn wrapped in blanket, golden parcel, pork skewers and Thai fish cake, followed by a fish course of pan-fried sea bass with mango relish and a salad course of grilled king prawn with lemongrass. Main course options will include salmon in Thai green curry, beef in Thai red curry with butternut squash, and lamb shank in massaman curry. For dessert, diners can choose from banana fritter with vanilla ice cream or Mantra affogato with amaretto.
