Guarantor

Hi there,

I'm currently renting out my flat to three tenants. One has come back and stated they will not be able to get a guarantor, as the guarantor is currently re-mortgaging their house.

Why is this? Would the agency perform a credit check against the guarantor?

Anyway, they have come back asking how many month rent would I accept in advance?

What do you think?

R.

As a guarantor for my son's flat....which BTW the rent for is greater than my gross monthly income.. i can confirm they indeed do some form of credit check against you, least it registers as a check, although this may only be an identity check as I was approved.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

I'd take him/her as guarantor anyway, just sight ID, if tenant's then do a bunk & they have all signed 1 TA, you can sue them all for any arrears & costs etc.
ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.
