How kin to exchange solicitor details

Hi
I've accepted an offer on my property last week. The estate agent's said buyer wanted it taken off market, and it's now marked as sold stc on rightmove. But nearly a week and buyer still hasn't been in with solicitor details or proof of funds. I'd had lots of viewings lined up but was advised I'd have to cancel them, I'm keen to sell.
How long do you give a buyer to provide these details before you put it back on market?
Thanks

the agent should have made it a condition of sale that the buyer had proof of funding and a soilcitor in place before it was taken of the market .
Get the agent to phone the buyer and tell them to get a move on .
See where it goes from their conversation.

Any agent worth their salt would have checked the buyer had funds before advising you to make it SSTC. Tell the agent to phone them first thing on Monday morning and say you need this by 5 pm or it will be back on the market on Tuesday.
If you had lots of viewings lined up, it might have been better to go ahead with these and then go to best and final offers. Or at the very least, stall until you see whether anyone else bites. Your agent is a wally."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
I would only wait one week max. Confirming funds/deposit and solicitor shouldn't take more than a day or two. We went in the same day with our details and we didn't ask it to be marked as sstc. Your buyer could be stalling for time, keeping yours to themselves while still looking and viewing others. Your estate agent needs to phone them tomorrow and If there's any funny business I'd be putting it back on the market by Tuesday.0

Sounds like someone wanting to secure your property, but hasnt actually got to a position of being sure he has sold his , and doesnt want to lay out any money before he has to, starting to buy yours, incase his sale falls through. Stalling.0
