Can you have two TSB Monthly Savers

Options
Tried the search function but can't find the answer so apologies if this has been asked before.

I have two TSB Current Plus accounts - does that entitle you to two monthly savers i.e. one per current account or is it one per person?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks both. We were fortunate to be able to open two current plus' when the first launched. The wife also has two current plus accounts so we'll open the other monthly saver in her name.

Yeah I read somewhere (prob a post on here) that when it 1st started you could have 2, then at some point they changed it to 1.

I used to have 2 Halifax reward accounts but they changed 1 into a normal account in the sly.

Can they do that Dan83? I would have thought they would have to inform you they were doing so, in these days of "openness and transparency".

I suspect Dan's account was downgraded because he wasn't complying with the then* Reward T&Cs, ie £1K credit and 2 DDs paid.

    * The T&Cs were changed some time later (a few years ago now?), stating accounts wouldn't be automatically downgraded...you'd just lose the Reward payment.

This is correct, you now get to keep the reward account but sacrifice the payment if you don't pay in £750 (now) and 2 DD paid out each month. You also get to keep the account now if you miss more then three months. (use to downgrade on the third month of reward conditions not being met)

    Thanks Ed.

For some reason I thought it was shortly after the change to £750 a month (in May 13?...waiting to see if I've got that date wrong too?).
