Credit Agreement not signed

IHi all
I have a credit card debt being dealt with by Lowell. The card was with Capital One.
On the 15th January I sent a letter to them requesting a copy of the credit agreement and statement of account. It took a few weeks but they sent me what looks like a credit agreement and a statement of account. When I started reading through the agreement I got to the space for my signature. My name was typed in capital letters there but no signature at all. I've read as much of the agreement as I can but it's been a difficult task because some of the print is extremely small and almost illegible. A couple of other things that stand out to me are that firstly the print on one page is very small and almost illegible and other pages have much larger print. Its like its been compiled from several different places. Secondly the card account was open a very long time ago so I cant recall if I did it by post or online. I know these days nearly all applications are done on line and there is usually something that refers to electronic signing. On reading the credit agreement sent to me, from what I can see, there is no mention of circumstances relating to online application/signing.
So firstly should I be questioning whether the credit agreement as a whole is genuine and or a true copy and secondly should I be questioning the Capital Letter name where my signature should be?
Thanks in advance.

I've just been looking at the Credit Agreement & statement I received and it actually came from Lowell not direct from Capital One as I first thought. Looking at the statement I've been supplied the opening date is November 2008.
In that case there is no requirement to produce a signed document, as the law was changed April 2007, however what they do send you must be legible, if it's not legible, then it's not compliant, it's that simple.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
