24 contract advice

Hi All

Can anyone help. My wife is contracted to work 24 hours in her place of work. She works 4 nights a week but has found that her job isnt paying her for a half hour break that she has never taken and therefore she only gets paid 5 1/2 hours per shift and not the 6 she thought she did
Thsi makes a big difference to her take home pay and has been ongoing it seems for 3 years

Anyone have any advuce on or if there is anything we can do as she isnt fulfilling her contract at 22 hours ie loses 1/2 unpaid per shift

What does the contract say about breaks is it paid or unpaid?

Although I would have thought if was contracted for 24 hours then it would be paid or if was unpaid then an extra half an hour done each day to make it up to the 24 hours hours.

Apparently is says unpaid which means she is only working 22 hours. Is this in breach of contract?
