Help with DCA and charges refund

Long story short in January 2016 Barclays agreed to refund me £206 in interest and fees added to a credit card in 2010 while I was redundant from work and unable to meet payments. MKDP subsequently purchased the account and still own the debt It was agreed that this refund would be paid direct to MKDP to reduce the debt which I had no problem with.
However, MKDP are not updating my balance and now 3 months have passed since 7th January, which was the date Barclaycard received acknowledgement that the MKDP would reduce the debt.
I have sent emails to MKDP but not received a response, which they normally do if you email them or acknowledgment of my complaint.
What would be the best set of action next has anyone else had this type of issue before?

Written complaint to MKDP, then escalate to the FOS if they still don't play ball.
Or, as nearly 8 weeks are up, give the FOS a call on there helpline number, as they may be able to step in now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
