Mortgage offer conditions help

We had the mortgage offer in the post today. Special conditions state 'this offer is issued on the understanding that the following commitments will be repaid on or before completion of this loan:
Credit card with an approximate balance of 125.

The balance on credit card is 2600 and I pay 125 a month. Is that right? Or do I need to phone the lender? Worried now!

Someone has put the wrong figure in.
They need the credit card clearing as it stands, whatever the balance is.

If that was not your intention, you would need to speak to the lender and see if they can re-issue without that condition.

As it stands though, the solicitor will just want evidence it has been cleared, whatever the balance is.

That they want evidence of it all cleared or just the 125?

They would never normally ask for part of a credit card to be cleared.

Did you tick on the application it was going to be cleared on completion?

I think I got confused on the application I put the whole figure on the dip and said that 125 would be paid which got accepted. Then on application it said amount to be cleared and I put 125 cos that was what I was clearing. It obviously meant balance. I'll phone lender tomorrow cos I think I've made a huge mistake. Hopefully it doesn't affect anything.

I would say what's the chances they check? But I'd be too worried to give it a chance.
