Huawei y330 storage
Hi, can anyone help with how to store apps on an sd card with this phone?
I've been getting a message saying there isn't enough storage whenever I tried to download an app (even after I deleted two!)
So I bought a 16GB sd card and have put it in the phone.
I've changed the default storage location to SD card.
I've also tried moving existing apps to the sd card, but the option to do this is faded out and "unclickable"
I'm still getting the message that there's not enough storage.
I've searched online, and looked everywhere on the phone settings but I can't find anything to enable the phone to move the apps to an sd card....
can anyone help?

what Android version is installed?
you might not to be able to store an App on the Sd card?0 -
Hi Ballyblack, thanks for your reply.
I really know next to nothing about phones, is the Android version something I can find out what it is in the settings somewhere?0 -
in 'settings'
'about phone'
Move all other stuff eg photos etc to the SD card to free up space for the app you wish to download
Most likely your phone will not store apps0 -
Thanks, it says the android version is 4.2.2
I can't see how to move the photos to the sd card! I can transfer them to the computer and deleting them off the phone0 -
sorry your phone is old tech with little memory(@4GB) and usability as regards APPS
Buy a phone with at least 8gb or preferably 16 GB internal memory to run apps
perhps the Motorola 'E' or 'G'

Do you mean my phone's old technology means apps can't be saved to the sd card?
I was going to get a different phone but thought the sd card would do the trick....0 -
I didn't realise you'd posted twice, thanks for the links I'll check them out0

Yes. Not possible on your phone. Best to buy a phone with 16G internal memory to run APPS.0
