Nationwide mortgage tips and tricks

Hello,

So i want to post about my mortgage experience with nationwide so far. I started out with a tracker product, as an existing customer with a bucketload of cashbacks and incentives. Overall cost was cheaper (e.g. take monthly payments for the whole introductory period, add all fees, subtract all cashbacks/incentives). And like the day after I got paid my cashbacks, I have "switched" my tracker to the "existing customer tracker" product to slash my rates further. Now looking about on the calculator, it looks like an almost april's fools joke.... the 2yr fix is cheaper than 2yr tracker by 0.10%. I'm pondering to "switch & fix", cause i am not sure i can overpay to drop an LTV band this year.

oh, unless they are doing this to get as many tracker people to switch and fix... that would make sense if the BoE base rate is about to be reduced further down.
