Below is a quote from my accountant in response to yet another request for the same document from the lender:
"Dear xxx
A completed version of this document was faxed to Nationwide
on Friday, 26th February and the hard copy was also posted to
your Swindon Office the same day.
Subsequently a copy was also e-mailed to you on Monday 29th
February and at 15.13 on that day I received an acknowledgement
of receipt of my e-mail.
Is there a particular reason why you need a 4th copy of this form?"
and this is just one document..Is it any wonder the house buying process has the reputation it has?

The biggest problem with Nationwide is that they never explain what is wrong with a document, they just put the case requirement back on ans expect us to read between the lines.
As to Accountants...
Not so long ago we had to go back to an Accountant four times for a certificate as every time he sent it, he changed something that was already correct, when altering something that was wrong.I am a mortgage broker.
