  • I don't know if this helps. But the picture 25 seems to be a mirror image.
    The medals seem to be on the right. When medals are normally worn on the left.
    This would mean that the horse is also facing the other way.
    To win a competition gives you the spirit to carry on (Comping).

    Lydias, no I'm not 100% sure, but its definetly not the one in Leicester Sq as the materials are different. I think I found a pic from somewhere else (aldenbury gardens,london wall = http://www.londonremembers.com/memorial/?hmenu=site-list&id=979) which looked similar - no tash though.

    I did wonder if it was Walter Raleigh as well.
