Garden Shed Problem
I've moved in to a new build and rushed into having a wooden shed put in the garden. The shed is much larger and heavier than I anticipated and due to it's size and height, I asked for it to be placed away from my neighbour's window.
The shed has been put on a sloping down part of the garden and a couple of bricks placed to level it up. Unfortunately the front is touching the ground which is sodden and the shed is very wet.
I am wanting to level the garden (as best I can), put gravel down and put the shed on flat ground. Which is where I am stuck as I do not have the funds to carry out major work.
So my questions: what is a cheap but effective base, that a wooden shed can stand on (it rains here just about every day).
How can a heavy shed be moved? It is 12 x 8 (I think).
Thanks you in advance.

Breeze blocks are cheap and let the water drain under the shed. Just make sure there are also some in the middle and not just the 4 corners. It's quite a large shed but could you tilt it onto it's side (with help) and then work on the ground below? We once moved an old shed roughly the same size. Two wide straps were put under the shed and 4 men carried them over their shoulders, a bit like when a coffin is lowered into the ground IYKWIM.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Thank you! I'm wondering whether the shed could be tilted and breeze blocks placed? I'm assuming that as long as there is a breeze block stopping the shed touching the ground, the sloping aspect is not important?
If correct, it would save me a lot of work and money :beer:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Mine is on breeze blocks. You could always use a car jack trolley thing to lift it up and slide the blocks under but might take a few tries to get levels. You can also get plastic shed bases that clip togther but they not that cheap0

I was looking at those eco plastic things, BargainGalore. They look great if you can afford them and have a flat surface. I was strugglign on both aspects but if I can solve the problem with breeze blocks and keeping the shed either where it is, then I shall be happy enough :beer:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

if you empty the shed they are quite light. 2 people lift one end and then put 2 breeze blocks each corner go around the back and do the same. for the middle do the same but a bit hirer or you could put 2more temporary breeze blocks to get to the centre of the shed base“Life isn't about finding yourself.
