Rhodes in May

Going to Rhodes in May and want to hire a car which despite travelling a lot, we rarely bother with, but this time we are out in the middle of nowhere.

Which hire companies should I avoid please?

I went last year and was happy with the car ( a bit battered but it got us around) but cannot remember for the life of me who it was with and no PC browsing history as I've changed PC.

Just as background we always take out all the optional extra insurance having been stung in the past with random charges for marks we couldn't even see .
