2 adults no children. 1 in work other a homemaker.
Is WTC worked out on an average of weekly hours or does it have to be 30 hours or more every week? Husband sometimes works 50 hours in one week and then 20 hours the next. Can we still claim WTC or do the weeks of less than 30 hours not count? and if so can it be claimed for the weeks where work is 30 hours +?

Is it a recognised pattern of work? Eg is it always 50 one week then 20 the next?
If so this could be averaged to 35 per week.

Thank you for the reply. the hours are not quite like that ,most of the year its 40 or 50 hours or so a week then there can be a week with 10 or 20 hours. Since Jan this year there has only been 1 week with 5 days work and it seems likely to continue for the foreseeable future. He usually works 40 or 50 hours a week and is told there will be work for several days by the agency then they ring up the night before and say the firm wanting drivers have cancelled.0

It will really depend on the pattern of work.
If the hours dropped below 30 for 4 weeks or more then entitlement would stop.0
