Back to the original post...

Hi,

My house purchase has been delayed to complete around the 10th Feb. I have a help to buy ISA which I could close on the 1st Feb and be eligible for the government bonus of £400.

I've asked my conveyancers if they can claim the bonus, but they're referring me to a financial advisor. The conveyancer needs to claim the bonus.

I already have my mortgage in place and because I was expecting to complete before Feb I didn't say any portion of the funding would come from this source.

Is there a way I can claim the bonus? As its a relatively new scheme nobody seems to be able to offer advice. The banks refer me to the solicitors and vice versa!!

Thanks
