I'd support him in his choices, stand back & be ready with a shoulder if all goes wrong.

well i will leave it, but i am not happy about it. when i socialise with him and her i cringe because there's just something off about her. i know he's in a world of delusion right now and "loved up" but i hope i am proved wrong because he's invested a lot into her.

I'd certainly provoke some reaction if I wore fitted clothing but sadly not in a positive way, my now husband says one of the reasons he married me is that my bum is way too big to fit into designer clothes, I'm cheap to keep

Have you actually instigated a friendly chat with her about a neutral subject? When your friend is off talking to someone else? She may be 'off' because she is picking up on your hostility. Meeting a partner's friends can be scary and you can occasionally meet a wall of suspicion. Most people cannot hide their hostility. When you talk to someone who has taken against you and you don't know why it is natural to start putting barriers up (which might be why she appears snobby to you).

Oh dear, I too own my own home and wont sell it to buy somewhere with my OH, he can afford the house we live in without my help. I must therefore be a gold digger.

Yet how did this gold digger and I afford our own homes?
Could it be we worked for them? Well I can't say for the wears tight clothing gold digger, but I certainly worked to buy mine.

I know what provocative means. I don't know the link between slim fitting clothing and provocation. Does slim fitting clothing put across a certain message to you? All it means to me is that a woman is proud/ confident of her body, which is surely not a bad thing?
