I have an established holly tree over 20 years old that over the last few weeks is shedding it's leaves up to about 5 ft with the branches becoming completely bare. I'm hoping it's just the unusual weather conditions and not some dreaded disease, is anyone else have the same problem.

I don't think its's possible for any of us to diagnose which problem your holly might have. Some diseases they'll recover from, even after losing all their leaves, but others can be terminal.

As there are no cures available, the best thing you can do is sweep up all the dead leaves which might be harbouring disease and either burn them or send to recycling.

    Then, just wait for spring....
