That link keeps asking me annoying questions, can't be bothered.
I have concerns over this whole thing.
Key figures in the Government will no doubt be having their strings pulled by Capita, so I imagine the level of charges will not change. Similarly the DVLA will continue to be allowed to give out confidential information like confetti to anyone who asks for it.
The only potential good things I can see coming out of this:
1. The BPA will have it's wrist slapped with a directive to actually sanction it's members if they break the rules, rather than sit on a naughty step for five minutes. With any luck the IPC will be rendered useless.
2. The cowboy PPC's will be driven out of business, but this will simply generate additional business for Capita, sorry my mistake, Parking Eye, who will continue their rabid approach to pursuing motorists for profit.

Clearly the government know that POFA 2012 was a pig's ear
NO
if the POFa
A act is adhered to correctly , it can work however more and more operators are going to the IPC when challenged by the BPA / POPLa for non compliance
the IPC , just do not bother with POFA.
perhaps the government should ban any company that does not comply with POFA from pursuing or debt collection , that would shut the IPC down overnightSave a Rachael

To stop those pop ups like questions etc, if you use Google Chrome or Firefox and some other browsers there is a great extension called adblock which stops the problem and blocks cookies related to them
And as far as Parking Eye are concerned, this is where supermarkets will take over, that's if they want their profits to increase0 -
One thing which must happen is a reduction in the time limit for commencing legal action; 6 years is far too long. Ideally I'd suggest 6 months from the date of the parking event, but allowing 9 months if an appeal body (POPLA/IAS) is used.0

yes I agree
and the outright banning of parking companies operating on "by law" and public roads (that's killed JLA) with sanctions/bans imposedSave a Rachael
