Upto 70% off Plants at Wyevale's - Any Good?

Thought if you anyone has been to there local recently, and found some decent bargains at all? I'm after some unusual alpines and other perennials.



  • Well, yesterday, I bought:

    Wisteria from £37 to £9 (best buy!)
    Kalmia augustifolia rubra £12 to £3
    Sempervivum £3.99 to £1.50
    Hellebore Harvington Hybrid £12.99 to £6.49 (2nd best buy!)

    2016 Diary £10.99 to £2.40 (2-page over a week)
    Twin secatuers £10 to £8

    So anyone with a need for 70% discoujnt for shrubs, climbers then youi'll find a good bargain, but their main perennial stock was very limited as it's last year's stock. They also had some trees at 50% but I really had to restrain myself as I wouldn't be able to carry one to the bus stop!

    It depends what you call good. I bought a rose bush and a Christmas tree last weekend, both 50% off.

    (I'm hoping that if I pot up the tree into something bigger, it should grow for a few years)
    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
