Help - thought I knew what I was doing but...

Am due in court on 14th Sep and have sent in my court bundle and was quite happy. Got a letter from banks (HSBC) solicitors saying they are requesting a stay (surprise!!!) Phoned the court who said that they didn't know what would happen "yet". So do I still have to go to court? Should I call the courts every day to see if anythings changed? I don't want to go to court if I don't have to as I lose pay but, obviously, don't want to not turn up and they find in their favour!! Should I just ring the day before to check?
Many thanks

Hi Jacqui,
I know it's a pain in the *rse, but you're probably better off turning up on the day, with your court bundle to hand, you never know you might get a sympathetic judge (instead of the pathetic one's who are staying cases).
Which court are you attending and have they been staying cases or deciding on individual cases that come before them?
Good Luck

I thought as much. It's Coventry Court and I don't know what they are doing really!! When I have called it's definately a "Duno - things are changing daily attitude". I think I'll call a couple of days before to double check but be prepared to go anyhow.
If anyone knows anything re Coventry Court please let me know!!
Thanks again Mark

Jacqui,
If you send a message to one of the people who post on thier user name is TANZARELLI, this person had a list of courts that were going ahead with claims and courts that were staying cases.
