Completing a sale (Ebay)

sparkles.
I have recently had my first three auctions finish on Sunday with sales on each item :j . One has paid immediately and I have posted the item off this morning. For he others I have sent invoices but had no other contacts from the buyers. I have checkout on so it should be pretty easy for them.
I know I am probably just being a bit keen with the bank holiday and everything but is there anything else I need to do for the others to pay? I have asked for paypal only. Have I missed anything or do I just need to be more patient??
TIA

Hi Tia,
Unfortunately not everyone pays straight away, unless you have for eg. 'Winning bidder must pay within 24 hours after the the auction has ended' specified in your terms & conditions in the actual auction listing.
Just be patient...don't worry.....0 -
In your own words you just need to be more patient
If you get no response after the 5th day resend the invoice, as not everybody is online 24/7
After the 10th day you can file a UPI Dispute which will give them the hurry up0 -
Sunday?!
Give it time!!!
A couple of days is nothing out of the blue, after 7 days or so you should message the buyers about payment.0 -
Thanks, I knew I needed to be more patient really - it's just so exciting, my first sales!! I know that the end of the month is payday for a lots of people as well.
I was just worried that I hadn't done something, I want to be a good seller and not hold people up.0 -
I don't bother chasing buyers anymore after day 8 they get hit with a NPB.
I used to try and phone to chase them up...total waste of time.
If folk can't pay straightawy they should at least contact you.0 -
Hi,
I alway try to pay within 5 mins of the item ending. But if it ends during the early hours of the morning I send the seller an e-mail saying that if I win I will pay as soon as I get on the next morning. Just lets them know your not messing them about. Sadly not everyone worries about that sort of thing and its just a waiting game for a little while. Good luck with your selling in the future. Thanks for any help and advice given

I always pay instantly, so the seller can dispatch immediately....
I don't see the point waiting a number of days for an auction to finish and then not pay straight away...0 -
if i buy i pay within the hour unless i am 1) at work 2) asleep 3) gone out. When selling however i usually give people 7 working days, i will then email them stating if payment isnt made/sent within 2 working days i shall report them to ebay. Most pay up in the first 4 days i am far more relaxed now i have done many more auctions0
