    I saw nothing about credit check, this is not right. Was it in the T&Cs? oops.

    I entered comp then saw your post so immediately emailed forbidding them to do credit check, dya think it'll work. though I 58 house paid for no debt, I am so lucky. but recovering cancer, so still lucky, but not hadda win on me comps. Still annoyed at credit check done overtly.

    yeah, they credit checked me, didnt read any further down the post :mad:

    i must've passed though, they offered me £125 to spend immediately... not that i want that!! Is htere a problem with thtem runnign a credit check on you?

    it can affect your credit scoring which is ok if yours is good, but if you have a bad credit score it makes it worse and can affect you if you want to apply for bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages etc. lots of info on credit scoring in the main site

    I emailed advising although I have registered for the catalogue, I do NOT give my permission for a credit check and if this results in cancellation of my account please do so.

    This is what they said

    "Hi
    We can confirm the account has now been set to a full cash for you to order with credit or debit card & the account has been romved from your credit file"
