    Hi

Well you made me laugh, I have had to look back to yesterdays post. I am never knowingly witty!

    Have a good day all.

    Maria.
  • Woo hoo! It's Thursday and I've made it on to the thread. I've read Monday's just need to catch up on rest of week. Hope everyone is doing ok.

After 3 ridiculously long works days, thanks to being on a train yesterday to London and back with a seat (no mean feat I can tell you ;)) I managed to feel like I'm almost caught up with my day job. Still got a million things to do, but feel like I'm not sinking in tar, like I have for the last few weeks. Lets hope it lasts more than a few hours :rotfl: My list for today I have/will:

Post 4 fleabay dales - moved money to CC, walked to PO too :A
Dropped coat I sold on Facb00k to someone, another £3 to CC
will list a few more bits on fleabay tonight
    Meals from stores
Hubby on proper nights tonight and tomorrow, so will try and wrap presents tonight when he goes to be beforehand. Over time will be split savings (AKA EF) and CC
Write the few Christmas cards that I do send
Paid cheque in for clothes sales. Will move to CC when it clears :T
Request CB from £co - will also move when arrives
    1poll
Track down something for FIL online for christmas - most difficult person in world to buy for :o

Think that's all, will check back later:)

Afternoon everyone :) thank you CCL for starting us off this morning :) I feel your pain giving your cats tablets. When I have to give mine tablets I coat it in butter and put it in cheese or ham so they eat it (mine don't, !!!!!!s) So I coat it in butter and wrap a towel round them and calmly stroke them while trying to get their mouth open, chuck the tablet in, hold their mouth closed and rub their neck gently for them to swallow. I hate doing it and feel so mean but it is the only way I can get them to take a tablet.

Got some good news I HAVE MY DEPOSIT BACK!! (well not quite yet but I will have it in 3 to 5 working days according to the DPS) :j:j:j:j

    Today's list:
    - FPL
    - Lucky Phone
    - MS
    - B/D from stores
    - Survey/s
    - Write some more thank you notes (how do we know so many people?!)
    - Write Christmas cards
    - Write Christmas list
    - Sort through present box
    - Blog post

    Think that is about it
    xx

    Hello! :hello:

Just popping by to apologise for my extended leave of absence!
Everything has been pretty crazy here and I haven't had a chance to post! Need to get myself sorted out though as normally I get paid on 25 of the month and instantly transfer money to my bills account to cover everything ready for when they start coming out on the 1st - well this month I didn't! Luckily I realised on the 1st and transferred some straight over so hoping it wont cause problems although my account was showing as a minus! Now I also need to start thinking about getting ready for xmas!

Hope you're all well as haven't had a chance to read.
    Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
    Current debt - £4,800
Total paid off - £10,800.89 (69% paid off)
  • Twiggy nice to see you again :) hope all is well, sending hugs xx

Dnms, Glad that you are feeling brighter today, I hate days like that.
    Hello to everyone else

I don't like not posting here in the morning, I don't feel like I've got much done, will post my list in a sec and hopefully see that I've done more then I'm remembering!!

I've spent the afternoon round at one of the rental houses helping my dad lay laminate flooring whilst the tenant has gone away for the month. So I'm feeling cold and stiff at the minute, hoping this coffee will perk me up a bit!!

Candy Try not to beat yourself up, you realise what you have done and why, draw a line under it and start tomorrow afresh. Is their anything you can return, to recoup some of the damage?
