Fake goods on ebay, what can i do

If you used paypal then raise a dispute but you will need to return them before any refund - make sure you return them recorded or special delivery depending on their cost.0

I'd reccommend reporting them to Trading Standards. You need the seller's address and your local TS will report to sellers local TS if different and investigate.
The main problem Ebay have with fakes is that a lot of people report items that aren't fakes as well, to scupper fellow sellers, etc. So they're in a no win situation there. I don't think its a case of them earning money so they aren't bothered. The bad publicity certainly doesn't do them any favours. They do have people investigating. Its easy to spot idiots selling fakes, the more sophisticated ones are that bit more difficult. I'd never even thought that anyone would want to make fake headphones..0 -
Well had a little shock today.
Girlfriend recieved an email stating she will recieve a full refund, no arguments or anything from seller which to me shows he is fully aware he is selling fake stuff. She also said the email address is a chinese name which would suggest they are getting them in big supply
I really want to report them, but havent got his address. He hasnt even asked for the item back, just asked to wait two days for a full refund.
where should we go now??0 -
The headphones are probably costing his so little he can afford to refund no questions asked to protect his business. You can still report the listing as fake/counterfeit item from the bottom of every page. If you mention the listing I'm sure a lot on here will too. Whether ebay do anything abut it is another story.0

Bootleggers tend to offer no questions refunds to sweeten peed off customers. Don't let it stop you reporting them.
Shame feedback has already been left... you could leave a follow-up but it would probably be buried quickly. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Go the whole hog and report them, tehy shouldnt get away with it, email the seller to ask the address where to send the headphones too, there you have the addressNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

feel bad on gfriend as it was like i wasnt happy with them, but she is quite annoyed herself about it. ill leave it to her as she is worried he will realise its us reporting him, as obviosly not many left negative for fake goods, one in past few months0 -
Whilst accidentally reporting the above seller for listing counterfeit goods I noticed that event tickets is now under banned goods! Will mention it on the other tread.0
