  • There is a couple of options,

If calling from a mobile, there will be an app that will be able to open and record before or during calls.

For landline based calls how do you want to store the record conversations, on your pc, on tape, on a digital dictaphone or even on home phone answer machine?

The link in the earlier reply from Ofcom stated that the recordings are only to be used for your own personal use. They are not to be emailed to others. Do that and you could commit a criminal offence under ROPA.

Email is not a secure method of communication. The contents of an email can easily be intercepted and used by others. If you must share anything confidential then never use email.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

so if i record a conversation, not happy with the response, and complain to the same company, thats breaking the law correct?

That would be OK but you said "others" which indicates sending to a 3rd party which could land you in hot water.

Use a Truecall unit with a call recorder card - blocks all nuisance calls and allows you to record.
