Debt collectors letter received

Hi
I just received a debt collectors letter for a parking charge dated 2/4/14.from debt recovery plus ltd for parking eye.
I cannot remember receiving this parking fine
Can I contact them for a copy of the fine and would they send it.
I don't mind paying but I cannot remember receiving such fine .

read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread, and IGNORE the debt collectors

its an LBCCC or an MCOL from Parking Eye over the next 5 years you need to deal with, if they arrive

It is not a fine.


Debt collectors have no powers other than sending out bog paper with meaningless scribble on it.

Thanks but my question is if I contact them would they send me evidence of the parking charge. Because I don't recall any such charge. I hope parking eye is not just sending debt collectors for money randomly

As above. Why contact someone who has no power or authority to do anything, especially as all the advice on this site is to ignore them? Also, why come here for advice if you are going to ignore the advice of people who have helped thousands of others to beat unfair parking tickets?


As for your comment about paying them, you are a mug if you do. No offence but if a Nigerian scammer asked you for money, would you pay it?
So, a scammer has asked for money and you don't mind paying them?
My gob has been smacked.


If however Parking Eye have contacted you at any point, you should have responded to them. Come back here if they do.

Please don't ask about DRPlus letters, we've had it up to here with them and there are umpteen THOUSAND threads here about them already if you want to bore yourself silly on the subject (as we are). And don't EVER contact Debt Recovery Plus. Just read the NEWBIES thread, post #4 which begs people not to start threads about their letters.

Promise us you WILL NOT ring DRPlus.

Come back only if you get a letter from ParkingEye.
