  • Honestly I have no idea, it was a rushed phone call and i haven't agreed to anything. But I'm not sure I need more than unlimited calls + texts and 4gb of data?

  • Currently I have £23 to last me till next Friday, slightly stressing because I'm needing to get some food in and put petrol in my car. As far as i'm aware bills are all paid, until the bank take the account fee + interest out my account on the 2nd and put me in an unautherised overdraft :)

But I wont be worrying about that just now. 2016 will be a good year for me financially. I've got some things ready to list online so i'm hoping to make a little money from that which should help considerably towards my debts.

I'm at work just now but since it's quiet I'm searching for more ways to cut my spending and how to live on a much smaller budget. I may have to start wombling again even though I hate it, but APG'S=free food I guess!

Still unsure what to do about the phone situation. Sim only is cheaper, but my phone is on it's last legs I think. I might just suck it up and live in hope I get at least another 12 months out my phone and buy one next Christmas. We will see!

  • I badly need a place where I can write down my thoughts so, I've been thinking that I'm going to use this diary to record little random things too, like the fact I fully intend on decluttering and selling everything and anything I can. Tidy house, tidy mind.

My whole house is full of clutter. It's not the biggest house ever and there's hardly any cupboard space. We have far too much stuff to the point where the house is actually never tidy. A lot of the crap (because that's what it is) will be going to the skip but some I will try and sell. I plan on having a clutter free house by the end of this month. That might be wishful thinking, but I have a lot of time off this month so should use that time wisely. Thinking I might document this through pictures, however I might not as I'm slightly embarrassed.

I've also started collecting any money I see and putting it in one of those tins from poundland and the likes that you can only open with a tin opener. Well, I was desperate to know how much was in there so I opened it and counted £116. SO PLEASED with that! So, I bought another one from B&M for 89p, put the money in there and will not open it until it's full!

I also think I should start saving £9 a day considering I used to spend that on a packet of cigarettes and juice every day. Saving all money I save on my shopping (Eg save £2.86, I will put that into my savings account). No take aways. No eating out. Home made meals 100% of the time.

Mentally, I'm in a better place than I was before. I'm extremely motivated to change my life and my finances. I will be debt free by the end of this year and I will have savings. I'm aiming for around £3000 saved, but we will see.

I really love this forum, I just thought I'd throw that out there. It's full of such wonderful and supportive people.

  • Currently in an unauthorised overdraft thanks to bank fees and charges. The bank, however, have told me that their charges are fair and will do nothing to help me as they gave me "financial assistance" twice already by waving fees when I was 18. FIVE YEARS AGO!

I'm feeling pretty deflated now. I've no idea when I actually get paid next and I'll just be racking up £10 a day in charges. Literally have no money for food. I'm so ready to win the lottery now ... oh no wait, I can't afford a ticket!:rotfl:

  • Happy days! Finally managed to change my account to a student account :) SO happy it's finally done and I don't have to worry about paying their fees.

The lady also said that she will check offers available to me every month incase a 0% CC comes up so I can do a balance transfer and not pay any interest which would be nice :)
