Martin Lewis is judging :money:
AS OUR CHAMPION, YOU’LL GET:
To be front and centre of the UK’s part in the global day of giving, #GivingTuesday
To take part in media stories, talking to the press about your story to inspire others
To join us at our Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons in November, and address our 100+ attendees of MPs, charities and special guests
To join us at #GivingTuesday HQ in London on the day itself, getting stuck into all the action on December 1st.
£250 for a charity of your choice
#GivingTuesday is back in the UK for the second year and this time we need you! If you’re a fundraiser, volunteer, unsung hero, or any sort community give-backer, we want to hear from you. Or if you know someone who is, we want you to give them a nudge, because we’re looking for our official #GivingTuesday UK champion. You can nominate yourself, give someone a gentle nudge to nominate themselves, or nominate someone on their behalf.
HE FINE PRINT:
* You’ll need to be based in the UK and able to prove it, with a passport or driving licence
* You’ll need to be free all day on November 10th and December 1st
* We’ll cover reasonable travel and accommodation to and from our events London
* We'll use your details for nothing else but administering this competition
* You’ll need to pick a charity that’s registered with The Charity Commission and subject to our own checks
* Charities Aid Foundation (who run #GivingTuesday in the UK) will whittle down the entries to the top ten, which will then be passed on to our judging panel to vote on a winner. Judges decision is final
Competition opens 9am Thursday 15th October and closes midnight 29th October
