Parked my car on half normal parking and half disable parking spot

I parked my car half on the normal spot and half on the disabled spot and got a ticket. Whats the law on this because more than half of my car was in the normal parking spot but the front two wheels had just slightly gone over the disabled line.

Council or Private ticket? In Scotland? If private ticket, which company? Car registered to you? Ticket through post or stick to window?..
