HI, recently i made a purchase via paypal (which is directly linked to my bank account) and the next day i was supposed to have money paid to my account ( this was ok because paypal takes 3 days to charge the account) ,however the payment was delayed and never went through so my bank account was negative £75 i just assumed it would stay like this until i credited my account but today i looked and the negative £75 had gone like it had been paid but no money has went into my account the transactions just came off my statements and it showed no evidence of it being there to start with but the purchase still shows on paypal, does anyone know why the negative balance is gone ( and it was not refunded to paypal either)

How was the payment made to PayPal?

If it was by direct debit then it may have tried to go out but got returned unpaid due to insufficient funds. It may be taking a day or so to update on PayPal.

A Revolve Account is an account for minors and will not be allowed to get into a negative position. Therefore if you had a direct debit being claimed and there were inadequate funds to cover the payment it will be 'bounced' and return unpaid. Lucky for you, being under 18 years of age, this doesn't cause a bank charge but would on most adult accounts.

I wouldn't get into a habit of doing this.
