I'm notoriously bad at having to make a decision about things : and despot it being unimportant because all my money is used up every month (low income) I cannot for the life of me decide which bank to bank with.
Choices are:
Santander
NatWest
RBS
Barclays
TSB
I know it's so silly, but please help me decide !!!!:rotfl::beer:

As you haven't specified what your requirements are, it's not possible to match them with the features of the accounts. They differ quite a bit, so I am not sure how you came up with the shortlist?
What are your requirements?0 -
Care to give us a clue what you want from your bank account?:cool:0

Sorry guys I posted too soon before adding in this:
These are all accounts opened over the years and they are all active so that's how I've shortlisted them because I might as well use one that's already open.
What I need the account for is to have about £900 a month paid in via salary- and to have two direct debits coming out per month. I also want to be able to have one of those e savings accounts to keep some money aside and to easily transfer between the two accounts as and when I need it.
I'm on a limited income so the interest rates don't necessarily matter at the moment. I like branch service also although location doesn't matter. I would like to build an internal credit score with one bank over time so that I might be more likely to be lent overdrafts and credit cards based on account history and not just credit score from the credit ref agencies.
Also mobile banking is important to me.0 -
Perhaps choose on the basis of which of the above accounts you use out of preference0

Once you've decided which one(s) to keep, switch some of the others to banks that offer switching incentives....0

TSB. Better some interest on your money while it is in your account than none at all. They have a few instant access savings accounts to choose from, though you'll probably want to avoid the monthly saver for now.
If you want to open a new account then Halifax Reward would also be good for you: pays £5 a month subject to £750 in and 2 DD's out.0 -
Second for TSB from those listed, but Halifax would get my first vote, all for the reasons Kim_13 gives.0

Halifax rejected me (I applied online). Although I have an easy cash account that I've never used - but my credit history is bad.
RBS gave me a contactless card and so did nationwide who just accepted me.
Are any of these banks more lenient with future lending0 -
Why not just use TSB or even Nationwide?
Halifax might upgrade if you actually use the Easycash...0 -

Did you not think it might be worth mentioning the bankruptcy, credit issues, etc, when starting another thread looking for more advice on accounts?0
