Concentrix on behalf of HMRC

Hi all, I'm new to this but wanted to share my story.
I am a single mum of 2 kids (4&6months) living on my own in a 2 bed flat.
I received a letter back in April of this year from Concentrix stating they had 'reason to believe' another adult was living with me.
This is not true.
I called them and was asked to provide 2013/2014 (tax year) bank statements, rent or tenancy agreement, council tax receipts & Gas and electricity statements or my CTC will be stopped.
In a fit of panic after having my daughter 6 weeks early & back and forth to the hospital in the time I had I gathered all of this information and sent it first class to them.
I left it a few days & gave them a call. They hadn't received my documents but due to a 'blip' my account details were wrong and I had to provide these again. I received my tax credits the day after they were due.
That was it, every thing went back to normal and I never heard from them again.

Now..
On the 9th of this month, I was on the school run & went to the cash machine thinking I had my tax credits. No. My account was empty.
I called HMRC and they said it was Concentrix who had stopped my claim. So I called them. After an hour on hold I managed to speak to someone. She informed me that a letter had been sent and my CTC were stopped because I didn't send back the required information in April. I said I did? She spoke to her manager and they informed me that I was to send them out again by recorded delivery. So once again I rushed around trying to grab all the info I could to send (little did I know recorded delivery was nearly £8!) but sent it anyway.
A few days later I called them to see if they had received my documents and they did. BUT it could take 60 DAYS for my claim to be reinstated.
Well now it's the 4th week I haven't relieved my CTT!
I have called them numerous times stating my 6 month old is running low on milk formula (they have also stopped my milk tokens) my 4 year old needs school uniform, I need money for food, gas & electric etc.
these people seem to think they're helping by telling me they understand when clearly they don't.
One day my documents are being looked at, my claim has been reinstated and I will receive my money asap.
A few days later, my claim is being looked into, a decision hasn't been made it could take 60 days.
The 6th time I've called and cried like a baby and all they can do is advice me to see my local CAB (who I have been to & are useless) and they can prioritise my claim but could still take 30 days.
There is no way of me speaking to the people who make the decision as they don't accept outside calls! (surprise, surpise)
I suffer from post natel depression and am literally coming to my wits end with these people.
Has this happened to anyone else?
How long does it take?
Will my money be back dated?

Sorry to rabbit on but literally have no one else to talk to.. :(:(:(
