Can anyone tell me if an ebay account that has had the user name changed is likely to put off buyers?
my partner opened an account for me to use before we split up and my feedback score is 69 and 99.7%.
i dont want to have to open my own account and go back to zero as the 6months trading is down the drain, i dont want to change the holders name or address just the user name as it is just my ex's name and not a made up one that could be unisex. this causes me problems when buying and selling things like shoes and underwear etc.
my ex has no problem with me still using the account doesn't want people thinking that he is a little kinky or whatever if they looked up his name!

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm changed my username a few times to more adequately reflect what I'm selling

the name changes and a icon is displayed next to your username so that those you have recently traded with don't get too confused when the see a username they weren't familiar with0
