Loan insurance & mobile catering

Hi all,
Trying to find out if its worth getting loan insurance on £8000 over56 months borrowed for a business.

Also looking for an insurer to insure a catering van (as can't find one through the major sites)

Any help would be cool

Thanks.

I've placed this type of business with Mobilers before

They're nice guys and it's a good policy.

It's very important with any Insurer for catering vans that you read the policy and abide by the theft requirements and in particular any fire reducing / fighting requirements. Fire's are obviously very common on these types of businesses, if you've not followed their fire requirements eg fire extinguishers etc etc then the claim won't be paid.

Don't be tempted to cut corners to save time / money, if you ignore the fire requirements the claim won't get paid.

What are you looking at to cover the loan for eg if you die and / or are unable to work due to sickness. If you can answer this, one of the other guys who specialise in that field of insurance will be able to post advice
  • Hi there and thanks for the help so far,
Yes I am looking at a just in case scenario, accident and or death so the loan isn't left to my business partner.

    Thanks again

If you post up your approximate age and how much monthly cover the experts can hopefully give you some advice.

P.S You won't find mainstream Insurers offering cover on the food wagon

Have you already got the catering van and a pitch? Mate bought one without doing his homework and could not find anywhere to site it.
