ESA and residential company director?

I'm about to be signed on to be a company director of my blocks Limited Company. Its generally less than 1 hour a month answering an email or two confirming that we are ok with any changes around here, and a different director signs off the financial reports every year. There is no paid remuneration for being a director (and I still pay full management fees too).

I currently am awarded ESA but don't get any funds from DWP at the moment from it due to remaining monies from my divorce.

Will I be automatically discounted from receiving ESA because I will be signed on as a director even though it includes basically no work and is mostly a oversight nominal position and the paid management company do all of the work?

Do I also need to let DWP know this as a change? (I expect I do to be honest but I can't find anything on it at all).
